Type: Decision making bias

Let's say your best friend came up to you one day and said - " You know that new girl Jane who joined yesterday. She hates our English teacher". Let's suppose you like your English teacher very much. In your mind you might be thinking that you don't want to be a friend of Jane.

You made this decision based on what your friend said.

Here are some questions :

Q1. How does your friend know that Jane ( the new girl) hates your English teacher ?

Q2. Let us assume that Jane does 'hate' your English teacher. What exactly does she 'hate' about the teacher ?
